This Saturday is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! From 11am-7pm, we’ll be giving away thousands of free comic books to everyone that comes into the store! Each person can choose 5 different FCBD books, and another 5 with any purchase. Cut out our coupon in the San Jose Mercury News or the San Jose Metro for another 5 free comics! Free Comic Book Day is a great day to check out books you don’t normally read, or bring your friends and relatives to the store and get them hooked on comics. Next Saturday, May 1st, is Free Comic Book Day! We’ll have dozens of free comics for you to check out, including books by Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, Archie, Bongo and tons more, featuring your favorite characters like Iron Man, Thor, Superman, The Simpsons, Green Hornet, and Sonic the Hedgehog! We’ll be giving away 5 free comics to everyone that comes in that day, and another 5 free for any purchase made during the day. Make sure you show up early to get the best selection of books, as we often give away almost all of them by the end of the day!
Just a quick reminder that our Halloween Costume Contest it this Saturday! We’ll be open regular business hours on Halloween, from 11am-7pm. Stop by any time in costume for a chance to win a copy of Absolute Batman: The Long Halloween HC for the best Adult costume entry, or a selection of kids comics for the best Kids costume entry!
